THE MEET AND GREET

So, my friend and I went to the meet and greet. We got there at 3:30 and it was in front of where the concert was. There were about 25 people when we got there. It was a good crowd and I chatted a bit with some fans and stood by the barricades with everyone. There was this woman there with her daughter and she was a bit of a loud know-it-all, been to all Tori's shows, etc. Acted like she knew her - maybe she did, who knows? I have a picture of her somewhere, too...

Well...we waited and waited until this guy came out giving instructions on what was going to happen - this at about 4:15. He told us like you all have read before that Tori will come out and talk to the people in front, no passing up stuff and no moving around. Well, at 5 p.m. that is exactly what happened.

The strangest thing was that NO ONE talked when she came out. No screaming "Tori" or anything, just maybe some drool and whispers. It was so different than what I expected. She really is very Tiny and wore these black shoes with like platform cork-type heels, knickers that were blue camoflague with a blue sweatshirt, and pink top and her hair was in cute braids.

So, nothing of mine got signed or anything, and I mostly took pictures of the crowd and the bodyguard and a couple of Tori that turned out OK. I will post pictures after scanning them soon. She did wave to us as we were on the other side of the barricade - it was L shaped. And pointed at someone she knew to say hello. And waved really cute to everyone. Then she was leaving and kept looking like she wanted to say more to everyone.

I guess the whole thing lasted about 30 minutes? The weather was great anyway and aside from the body odor of some people that had been there since 9 a.m., it was a nice atmosphere and we were glad we went. We left saying...."well, did we MEET her or what?" I mean she waved and said, "how are you?" but did we really meet her? I guess not. But it was fun....
